Our Story: Inspired by First-Gen Life

Founded by Elaine, a first-generation Chinese American from San Francisco, 1st Generation SF was born out of a desire to honor heritage while creating something fun, relatable, and meaningful. Growing up in a multicultural home meant experiencing a blend of tradition, language, and humor, and those moments now come to life in our products.

From the classic feather duster doormat (because we all know what that meant!) to "I Love My Yeh Yeh" and "Mui Mui" tees, every design reflects the heart of first-gen life.
